Itinerary Day by Day: (Minimum
6 People)

Day 1: Arrival Lima
Assistance on your arrival in Lima and transfer to your
selected hotel. Free time to rest and prepare for starting
your trip around this magical country.
Day 2: Lima (B)
In the morning, city tour of the "City of Kings" including
the Historical Center of Lima, visiting Main Square,
Government Palace, City Hall, the Cathedral (where the tomb
of Francisco Pizarro, conqueror of Peru, is located),
Cathedral’s Museum, Temple of Santo Domingo (tombs of Santa
Rosa and San Martin), Temple of San Pedro, Lima Colonial
Balconies, Torre Tagle Palace, Paseo de Aguas and Convent de
los Descalzos. Then, drive through the residential district
of San Isidro, visiting El Olivar Park; Miraflores, visiting
the Kennedy Park, Love Park and Larcomar Mall.
Free for lunch. Early in the afternoon, for an excellent
overview of Peru's past, visit the Anthropology and
Archeological Museum holding the best private collection of
pre-Columbian art in Peru. Here are shown many fine examples
of textile works, one of which has a world-record 398
threads per inch; the materials and tools that ancient
Peruvians used to produce their work in ceramics and metal;
Peruvian pottery, gold and silver pieces with semiprecious
stones from Pre-Inca and Inca cultures. Return to your
selected hotel for overnight. In this programs introduction
about Pre-Inca and Inca Culture.
Day 3: Lima – Ica – Huacachina Dune – Nazca. (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Departure to the City of Nasca on
private transport (450 km. 6 hour journey approximately,
only professional driver, without guide assistance). On the
route (Km. 320 approximately), detour to Ocucaje to start a
2 hour Dune Buggie excursion in the desert to see
prehistoric fosil remains. Continue trip to Nasca.
Accommodation at hotel. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight.
Day 4: Nazca – San Fernando Beach. (B) (BL)
Breakfast at hotel. In a proper 4 x 4 go across the arid
desert and after the 40 km. that set apart the city of Nasca
and the Pacific Ocean, arrive to the paradisiac destination
San Fernando Cape. The roughness of the entrance and exit
trail allow the abundant and varied fauna that lives on the
reefs and beaches not to be afraid of human presence. The
Condor coming down from the Andes flies so low that one can
almost touch it. On the reefs and beaches live hundreds of
fearless sea lions and Humboldt current penguins that
observe visitors. Thousands of birds of the most varied
species overfly the shores diving into the water to feed
themselves. Box lunch. Afternoon return to Nasca going by
the iron mine in Marcona (private 4 x 4 transportation,
professional guide in Spanish and driver). After a brief
rest, end the day visiting the Antonini Museum that displays
a wonderful collection of pre-Columbian pieces of art.
Overnight.
Day 5: Nazca – Over flight Nazca Lines – Abancay. (B)
(BL) (D)
After breakfast transfer to the airport in Nazca , to board
a propeller plane to overflight the enigmatic Nazca Lines .
Enormous lines drawings of animals,birds and geometrical
figures that still remain etched in the desert,which can
only be appreciated from the air. After flying over the
Nazca hieroglyphs, we back to Nazca then continue departure
on private transportation to Abancay (Km. 423, 7 hours
journey approximately, only professional driver, without
guide assistance). During the journey, in Pampa Galeras and
on the Negro Mayo plateau one has the opportunity to admire
thousands of vicuñas, alpacas and llamas that are grassing
near the highway Box lunch. In the route view beautiful
villages of Chalhuanca, Santa Rosa. Arrival to Abancay and
accommodation in hotel. Dinner at hotel. Overnight.
Day 6: Abancay – Saywite – Cachora – Rosalinas Beach. (B)
(L) (D)
Early breakfast in the hotel after continue to journey to
Saywite after arriving at Cachora at 10 a.m. approximately.
We will begin our trek from this area, along sloping path
leading to the pass of Capuliyoc (2800 m.a.s.l) where we
will stop for lunch after a two-hour walk. Then we will
continue our journey to the town of Chaquisqa (1930 m.a.s.l).
The whole course to Chaquisqa is downward and the landscape
is awesome and the weather is warm. Our first camp will be
setup here. This is a three-hour walk. Overnight in camping.
Day 7: Rosalina Beach – Choquequirao.
Early in the morning at 6:00 am after the breakfast, we
continued our trekking that goes until Choquequirao in the
way we will observe great amount of flora, fauna and
diversity of birds. We will arrive at the archaeological
place of Choquequirao after 6 hours, good hour to enjoy that
majestic place, we will observe three levels of the
excavated ruins we will appreciate houses, terraces and
other parts of this Inca city (depending on the time we will
observe the flight of the Condors). Dinner spends the night.
Day 8: Choquequiraw – Maizal (B) (L) (D)
After a delicious breakfast we will leave at 7:00
approximately. In the Maizal direction raises to
Choquequiraw pass 3,300 m.a.s.l. and of which we will have
impressive views of the ravine of Apurimac, immediately we
will descend the small archaeological complex of
Pinchiunuyoq and Río Blanco for the lunch, and in the
evening we will raise 3 hours until Maizal. Where we will
spend ours third night Dinner and spends the night.
Day 9: Maizal – Yanama (B) (L) (D)
We will let to the site of camping approximately at 7:00 am
to begin the ascent escarped of four hours towards the
passage of Yanama (4.500 m.a.s.l) where we will have
impressive views of the mountains of Choquetacarpu and
Purinasillu, will take a rest after we descend towards the
community of Yanama (3.400m.a.s.l). We are going to camp in
this pacific place.
Day 10: Yanama - Plateriacahyoc – Qollpapampa (B) (L) (D)
We begin the trek approximately at 6:00 a.m. after the
breakfast. The way is flat inclined that takes 2:30 hrs.
Then we began the ascent like 1 hr. In order to be able to
pass Yanama 4,700 m.a.s.l the landscape is typical fist and
we will have to the snowed of Salkantay and Humantay after
descending the flora is changing until arriving at the
proximities of our camping site that is high forest, its
cold climate and humid in the nights, warm by day these
places are 2900 m.a.s.l
Day 11: Plateríachayoq - Aguas Calientes (B) (L) (D)
We leave to 6 a.m. After the breakfast, this day is
extremely easy because the way is flat (lowered) we will
walk on the left margin of the santa Teresa river in middle
of subtropical forest and little I diminish we will enter
the typical warm climate of forest high where we will see
coffee cultivate, fruit native, introduced after 3 hours
Approx We arrived at Lucmabamba from we will take a bus that
transported us until Santa Teresa aprox.40 min Soon we began
to walk about 40 min. Until arriving at the basket we
crossed the Vilcanota, next we took another car until
arriving to hydroelectric where we will take our lunch and
then we raised the train to 4:00 p.m. after one hour we will
be arriving to Aguas Calientes town where we will spend the
night in a comfortable hostel.
Day 12: Machu Picchu – Cusco (B) (L)
Very early we get ready on foot to raise the Machu Picchu
citadel, where you will have approximately 2 hours a guided
visit, and then you will have a free time to visit Machu
Picchu again, soon return to Aguas Caleinetes town where you
will take the train to Cusco.
Day 13: Cusco – City Tour and Nearby Ruins. (B)
Breakfast in the hotel, leisure morning for relax and
exploring citadel of the Incas.
In the afternoon, city tour of Cuzco visiting the Main
Square, the Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun or
Korikancha.
Then, drive out of the city to visit the Inca sites of Kenko,
Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the impressive fortress of
Sacsayhuaman, built strategically on a hill overlooking
Cusco; famous for its enormous carved stones joined with
astounding precision to form the outer walls. Some of these
stones stand over 9m / 30ft tall and weight over 350 tons.
Overnight al selected hotel in Cusco.
Day 14: Cusco – Sacred Valley of the Incas. (B) (L)
Excursion to the "Sacred Valley of the Incas", a succession
of picturesque towns, agricultural terraces and
archaeological sites. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays,
we’ll have the opportunity to bargain with vendors or stroll
at the Pisac's typical Indian market, with a catholic mass
service on Sunday (celebrated in Quechua, the native
language).
Lunch at a local restaurant in the Sacred Valley. In the
afternoon pass through Calca and Urubamba towns to arrive to
the Inca Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo, which was
built to guard the entry of this part of the valley and
protect it from enemies of the lower jungles; consisting in
a series of superimposed terraces of carved stones accessed
by long staircases.
We will have the opportunity to walk through the quaint
streets of the nearby town, religious and agricultural
centre during the Inca Empire, and get a clear idea of the
military strategy against possible invasions. On our way
back to Cusco we will visit the picturesque Andean village
of Chinchero where the remains of what was the royal
hacienda of Tupac Inca Yupanqui lies. Admire its well
preserved Inca Wall at the Main Square, visit the beautiful
colonial temple built on Inca foundations, with interesting
frescoes on the portico. Back to Cusco in the afternoon.
Overnight.
Day 15: Cusco – Lima – Home. (B)
After breakfast, transfer assistance on your departure. End
