Day 1: Arrival Lima
Assistance on your arrival in Lima and transfer to your
selected hotel. Free time to rest and prepare for starting
your trip around this magical country.
Day 2: Lima – City Tour. (B)
In the morning, city tour of the "City of Kings" including
the Historical Center of Lima, visiting Main Square,
Government Palace, City Hall, the Cathedral (where the tomb
of Francisco Pizarro, conqueror of Peru, is located),
Cathedral’s Museum, Temple of Santo San Francisco, Lima
Colonial Balconies, Torre Tagle Palace, Paseo de Aguas and
Convent de los Descalzos. Then, drive through the
residential district of San Isidro, visiting El Olivar Park;
Miraflores, visiting the Kennedy Park, Love Park and
Larcomar Mall.
Free for lunch (Optional). Early in the afternoon, for an
excellent overview of Peru's past, visit the Anthropology
and Archeological Museum holding the best private collection
of pre-Columbian art in Peru. Here are shown many fine
examples of textile works, one of which has a world-record
398 threads per inch; the materials and tools that ancient
Peruvians used to produce their work in ceramics and metal;
Peruvian pottery, gold and silver pieces with semiprecious
stones from Pre-Inca and Inca cultures. Return to your
selected hotel for overnight.
Day 3: Lima – Huaraz. (B)
In the morning, after breakfast lying in the far northern
Peruvian Andes Huaraz is ringed by startling 6000+ meter
snow peaks. It is known among travellers as “Peru’s
Switzerland.” Even though this title is misleading on
several fronts Huaraz is, as indicated by its title, THE
place for high mountain trekking and peak ascents in Peru.
Arrival to Huaraz receptions in the bus station and transfer
your selected hotel.
Day 4: Huaraz – Chavin de Huantar. (B).
Excursion to the archaeological site of Chavin de Huantar
(110 km). In the evening return to Huaraz. Overnight in
Huaraz.
The area of Chavin de Huantar spreads over 17 hectares and
was declared World Heritage Site some years ago. The
buildings date back to the 12th century BC. All buildings
were built from rocks. In ancient periods, Chavin was a
religious ceremony center. Relieves and pictures on rock
walls are still witnesses of the former Culture of Chavin
and very impressing for visitors.
Day 5: Huaraz - Santa Cruz - Ultra Trek. (B) (L) (D)
After the breakfast in the Hotel we will aboard the Bus to
go along the Callejón de Huaylas in the north side of
Huaraz. Passing different traditional Andean towns, first
Carhuas (2650m), where we will enjoy Carhuas' native
products, then we will continue with our travel to the next
town of Yungay, this city was buried by an Avalanche that
fell down from Huascaran Mountain in 1972, the the New
Yungay (2500m), from here we have to start going up to the
Llanganuco Valley, for the entrance to the Llanganuco Valley
we will register in the National Parks Control, here
passengers will start hiking up, along the Llanganuco Valley
a nice trail called maria Josefa, then after one ahour and
half walk we will arrive to Llanganuco lakes we will have
lunch, then continue walking to the next lake and we will
set our camping in the top of the second lake fo llanganuco
calles Yuraccorral 3863masl.
Day 6: Llanganuco Lake - Portachuelo Pass – Vaqueria. (B)

After the breakfast in the camp site we will continue hiking
up to the portachuelo pass (4767m) if the there is no cloud
we will appreciate impressionant peaks of the Mountains,
Huascaran, Chopicalqui, Pisco, Huandoy, and others, from
here we will go down along the Morococha valley to our camp
place to Vaqueria (3600m aprox) and overnight Camping
Day 7: Vaqueria – Paria. (B) (L) (D)
Today we will start our trekking, first we will make a short
walk down and start going up by the Huaripampa valley, we
will have most beautiful walking by the Andean small
villages and full of pastures, we will arrive to the Paria
small ravine where we will camp (3800m).
Day 8: Paria – Taullipampa. (B) (L) (D)
Today we will go up to the pass of Punta Union (4750m) from
here we will have impression ant views of the mountains,
landscapes, matching its natural mountain colours in the
blue sky, the white mountains, Dark green hills, turquoise
lakes, feeling the Andean fresh air at this altitude, from a
short stop we will continue now going down until our camping
place of Taullipampa (4250m) overnight camping
Day 9: Taullipampa – Llamacorral. . (B) (L) (D
Today we will have easy walking down almost flat area, but
after to start walking flat area we will go a short path to
the base camp of Alpamayo, 'cause we can't miss to enjoy the
world's most beautiful mountain, then we will continue
walking down passing by the small lakes named Jatun cocha
and Ichic cocha, in a few hours we will get our camp place
of Llamacorral at (3760m) overnight camping.
Day 10: Llamacorral - Cashapampa – Huaraz – Lima. (B) (L)
From here we will start our last day trekking, going down by
the beautiful valley full of plants, as we close to the town
of cashapampa the valley will be narrow, and we will finish
our trekking for about mid day, so we will go to the hot
springs for about 30 minutes walking to have relax after 4
days trek, from here we will aboard our bus to Huaraz to our
hotel arriving to Huaraz at 6 or 7pm. After transfer to bus
station and departure to Lima overnight in the comfortable
bed bus arrival to Lima next day in the Morning.
Day 11: Lima – Cusco. (B)
At 05.00 am arrival to Lima then transfer to the airport and
flight to Cusco. Assistance on arrival in Cusco and transfer
to your selected hotel. Free time to take a short rest to be
acclimatized to the altitude.
Leisure day for explore of the Capital of the Incas. (Optional
City Tour and Nearby Ruins)
Day 12: Cusco – Sacred Valley. (B) (L)
Excursion to the "Sacred Valley of the Incas", a succession
of picturesque towns, agricultural terraces and
archaeological sites. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays,
we’ll have the opportunity to bargain with vendors or stroll
at the Pisac's typical Indian market, with a catholic mass
service on Sunday (celebrated in Quechua, the native
language).
Lunch at a local restaurant in the Sacred Valley. In the
afternoon pass through Calca and Urubamba towns to arrive to
the Inca Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo, which was
built to guard the entry of this part of the valley and
protect it from enemies of the lower jungles; consisting in
a series of superimposed terraces of carved stones accessed
by long staircases. After transfer to your selected hotel in
Ollantaytambo. Overnight.
Day13: Ollantaytambo – Inca Trail. (B) (L) (D)
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Ollantaytambo
very early in the morning, to take bus to the city of Chilca
to begin your trek along the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.
After approximately three hours walking you will stop for
lunch. Then you will continue walking towards your first
camp at Wayllabamba, on the way you will have a guided tour
of the archaeological complex of Llactapata. Dinner and
overnight in tents at the campsite.
Day 14: Wayllabamba - Warmiwañusca - Pacaymayo (B) (L)
(D)
After breakfast, the toughest part of the trail begin,
walking towards the highest point in the Inca Trail where
you will have an unbelievable panoramic view of the whole
area and will observe different types of microclimates.
After a 3 hours walk you will reach the first pass, named
Warmiwañiusca or Dead Woman's Pass, at approximately 4,200
m.a.s.l. Here, you will have a tremendous feeling of
achievement mixed with relief on reaching the top. After
lunch you will continue your walking down to Pacaymayo where
you will camp and have dinner.
Day 15: Pacaymayo - Puya Patamarka - Wiñay Huayna (B) (L)
(D)
After breakfast start the descent towards the second most
important pass of the trail at 3,850 m.a.s.l. having a
guided visit at the archaeological complex of Runkurakay and
the Inca citadel of Sayacmarca. Continue your trekking
towards Puya Patamarka (Cloud-level town), another important
archaeological monument, where lunch will be served. After a
short break you will continue walking to Wiñay Huayna (Forever
Young) for a guided visit of this impressive archaeological
complex with a spectacular setting. Dinner and overnight at
the camp.
Day 16: Wiñay Huayna - Machu Picchu - Cusco (B)
After breakfast, have a very early start to arrive in time
for sunrise at Machu Picchu.
After a one hour walk through the forest towards the Inti
Punku or the Gate of the Sun, also known as the Entrance
Gate to Machu Picchu, where you will have the most
impressive panoramic view of the citadel. Upon arrival at
Machu Picchu, three-hours guided tour around the citadel,
visiting the main sites and monuments. After the tour you
will have free time to wander around, then you will meet
with the rest of the group to drive by bus down to Aguas
Calientes. In the afternoon, transfer by train to Cusco.
Upon arrival in Cusco transfer to your hotel.
Day 17: Cusco – Lima.
Pick up from your hotel and transfer to the airport - end of
our services (Breakfast included)
